What Is the Glow Stack?

The Glow Stack is a three-peptide research blend that combines GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500 in one co-lyophilized vial. Each vial holds 70 mg of peptide: 50 mg of GHK-Cu, 10 mg of BPC-157 and 10 mg of TB-500.

GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. It was first isolated from human plasma and is one of the most cited copper-binding peptides in dermal biology, where it is used to study collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis in fibroblast cultures and gene-expression changes in skin models. BPC-157, a 15-residue synthetic peptide, is examined in extracellular-matrix signaling research. TB-500, derived from thymosin beta-4, is a tool for actin-regulation and cell-migration assays.

Laboratories working on dermal-repair, regenerative-pathway and cosmetic-science models use the blend when a protocol calls for all three peptides at a fixed 5:1:1 mass ratio. The copper complex gives the lyophilized cake and the reconstituted solution a characteristic blue color, which is normal for this material.

Reconstitution & Storage for Research

Because the three components are present in unequal amounts, each one ends up at its own concentration once the vial is dissolved. Calculate them separately: component mass divided by diluent volume.

Concentration math

  • Adding 2 mL of diluent to the 70 mg vial gives 35 mg/mL total peptide: 25 mg/mL GHK-Cu, 5 mg/mL BPC-157 and 5 mg/mL TB-500.
  • Adding 2.5 mL of diluent gives 28 mg/mL total: 20 mg/mL GHK-Cu, 4 mg/mL BPC-157 and 4 mg/mL TB-500.
  • Whatever volume is used, the GHK-Cu concentration is always five times that of each of the other two peptides.

To check a different volume, run each component through the calculator using 50 mg or 10 mg as the vial content. Add diluent down the vial wall and swirl gently until the solution is a uniform, clear blue with no visible particles.

Storage conditions

Store unopened vials at 2–8 °C, or at −20 °C for longer periods, and keep them away from heat, moisture and light. Copper peptides are light-sensitive in solution, so keep reconstituted material refrigerated in the dark and prepare aliquots if the stock will be sampled repeatedly. See GHK-Cu reconstitution and storage for component-specific notes.

Quality & Testing

A multi-peptide vial is only useful if the label ratio is real. Each Glow Stack batch is analyzed by HPLC to our ≥98% purity standard, and the report is issued for that lot specifically.

  • HPLC purity data for the batch
  • Identity confirmation for the component peptides
  • Lot number and date of analysis
  • Supplied form and storage statement
